The 2026 YKJ Mud Pond Challenge is now live!
It's a lottery event where people make a wish list of the top 20 fish they want. When the draw is done each person gets the first available fish on their list.
The fish are guaranteed female, whereby any fish that turns out male will be replaced by way of free entry the following year. If a fish dies it'll be replaced in the same manner.
Prizes:
1st prize 300,000 yen
2nd prize 200,000 yen
3rd prize 100,000 yen
There are also two 'Tategoi' prizes whereby those two fish can have free keeping for another year.
